- All of this stress was beating Faye down, and she felt close to crumbling underneath it. She needed a victory, something to hope for. And there was one small light at the end of the tunnel that she was striving for. Recently she had been promised a promotion, a reassignment to a new division. It would have her managing her own taskforce, made up entirely of women. She would work directly for the glorious leader. All she had to do was prove herself this one last time. She had to meet this month's quota by arresting enough dissidents and traitors.
- The men sitting in the interrogation room were Faye's last hope to achieve that goal. They could either be a wondrous victory, or be her ruin. She needed names from them, and she needed them badly. The pressure was so strong that Faye felt willing to do whatever it took to get them.
- Faye's concentration on her current situation was broken when a whole group of people arrived in the room. Walking in first were several of her bosses and supervisors. They were all men, and immediately they started to look up and down her body with depraved hunger and lecherous intent. They were all old men, well into their fifties, and none wore their years well, but they still all hit on Faye and tried to get into her pants every time they saw her, despite all being married men. A shiver went up Faye's spine, but she repressed the instinct to try to hide away from their stares.
